Mostly just lurk in here from time to time.
Have had a 15-2 for 30+ years and it has been flawless.
Picked a second up about 5yrs ago NIB that had just sat till I stumbled upon it
got it for a steal also.
Every now and then the action would lock up and would need to advance the cylinder by hand then
it would be fine for a time some time long sometimes not - worse if you held it to the side.
Decided to finally pop the side plate and see if I could wreck something as usual.
After not finding anything out of place to my eye after the third time I started a search in here.
BINGO my hand spring had the tab end on top of the hand instead of the groove - I wonder if
that is why it sat for 30+ years unsold - Works flawless now.
Just wanted to say Thank You!!!

Great use of the forum. I noticed that it's very easy to make that mistake when reassembling a Dan Wesson, mainly because the spring is so small and my eyes are what they used to be. I bought a magnifying lamp to solve that problem and it has been one of the best tools I've purchased in a long time. I use it almost every day.
Now, you need to post some pics of those Dan's. (it's not really worthless but we sure would like to see them)

Jerry- well played on the Smiley
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
