Well I posted in the Members archive.. but heres a fresh new thread:
I am sooooo pumped to own this. Why in the heck would someone want a new gun to this???? ( well other than a new DW)
Top gun is my old reliable and original pistol pack gun with the LB Winged Special and EWK EPC BA. Below is actually a more pristine 15-2 sporting the BA I normally use to shoot competition. Both are shod with EWK FO ( and barrels and barrel nuts for that matter).
I am now confused though.. I put the FO on ramping from front high to shooter rear, while Eric put this one on ramped in the reverse. So again which way is correct? Note that I shot competition just last week end... and I do not recall it hitting high or low. Though I suppose it doesnt really matter as yo can adjust the rear to what ever works for you.
My other observation is that I really need a nice beefy grip to hold this bad boy up, sure my LB grip REALLY big, but using a skinny combat grip made this thing feel combersome while the big grip made it where I could hold on target all day. Just throw it out there and the weight will hold it still. YEE HAW!!
Soap Box, Ballot Box, Ammo Box
in that order.

Regarding sight positions, I guess if it feels good, then do it. I mount my patridge sights with the highest point facing me (as Shoot described) & prefer it that way.
Grip size with heavy barrels? You betcha (and of course hand size will be a big factor in this, but), I love the oversized Herrett's grip on my 10.5" Super Blackhawk. I can keep much more control of the gun with those, over the skinny factory ones.
Thanks for the I wish I had snapped up one of EWK's first ones.

Rolling,
The LB stands for the abbreviations of L Bruce, a member of the DWF and a grip builder like no other.
FO stands for Fiber optic, the type of sight in the discussion.
BA stands for barrell assembly
EPC stands for Erik's particular type of barrell assembly.
Hope this helps and welcome to the

Lol, I think we do have our own language here with all the abbreviations!
Oh my Pinetor, I love the combo you put together with the EPC! That LB grip looks like just the ticket! Glad it sounds you're loving the weight of the EPC, to me it seemed to help a bunch in keeping 'er steady!
The design of the fiber optic sight (or FO ) is such as Shoot and CF said, serrated end towards rear sight. But you can turn it around the other way if you like!
