A 15" rail top DW B/A for $399 is an absolutely ridiculous low price. These will be on GB and eBay at 2-3x this price as soon as the bottom feeders can buy and flip them.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Drat, and I've just committed to buying a Blued 722. I wish I could afford both.

Wow,
I agree that is a crazy low price. I was going back and forth with a guy on E-bay for a 15" Monson era barrel and shroud. He wanted a 1000.00, I got him down to 700.00, just when I was ready to pull the trigger work slowed way down so I held back on it.....I guess it's true things do happen for a reason. At that price work is slow but not dead!

Look at it this way:
Eric will continue making cool stuff, nobody is making DW's in .22 lr, and it's unlikely that anyone ever will.

Yeah, I know; that's why I not going to let the .22 slip through my fingers. But, I still want one of those 15" barrel thingys.
