I have been struggling recently trying to locate brass and large rifle primers for the new 22-250 that the wife gave me as an anniversary gift. Fortunately, I also load a lot of 223 so bullets are at least plentiful around the house.
I went to a local store that is very hit and miss for everything I am currently looking for. A week before the wife gave me the rifle, this store had 22-250 brass in stock although they only had a couple hundred pieces available. I went by there about an hour ago to pick up brass and of course, they no longer had it in stock.
Being bummed about the whole wasted trip and all, I decided to take a stroll down the firearm section to see if anything caught my eye. I had absolutely no intention of purchasing anything other than the non-existent brass until.......
that darned DWA model 15 with the 8" heavy non vented barrel and original DWA grip that could use a refinish caught my eye.
I am such a sucker for DW revolvers that I at least had to take a closer look. Looked in pretty good shape with minimal cylinder drag marks. Signs of use were present but nothing too bad. So I had to ask what they wanted for it and was told $375. Hardly a screaming deal but certainly worth the price of admission- wrap it up, I am taking it with me.
I guess once you suffer from DWAS, it never really goes away.

That would be a hard one to walk away from! The 15-2's flood my safe though each has it own place! 22-250 brass may be around this area, I can look around in my day to day dealings! Let me know, also what are primers you are needing maybe someone here has a fat stock of them!

OK guys. Here is a couple pictures of the new to me DW.
I guess that I should really read up on the pointers for good gun pics since I am terribly deficient in that particular area. I do seem to be able to hold my own when it comes to anything other than a gun pic though..... hhmmm.
Dave_Ks- thanks for the suggestion.
As it turns out, I was checking up on a Midway order last night and realized that they had brass and large rifle primers back in stock. They had to receive stock yesterday because primers and brass were non-existent when I made the previous order at the beginning of the week. I should never have to worry about primers for the 22-250 since I ordered 5K of them- of course I should probably never say never. I couldn't bring myself to pay close to $80 for 1K shipped, considering the additional shipping and the HazMat fees.
Here are 2 pics of the DWA. I really need to step up my game on firearm pics.
