Today I was finally able to get my butt up on the hill, at my "range" & punch some holes in the October Match target. I took my camera along & a couple extra guns, with a photo opportunity in mind. I grabbed both SM's, and what I thought was the pair of Sentinels...well, I knew I should have opened the case first, because I got over there & all set up before I noticed that I had brought the Fixed Barrel guns instead. Woops.
Too many other things on the brain today, I guess. Then my camera didn't want to cooperate with the assorted of colors & brightness it had to deal with, so they didn't turn out as well as I hoped for. But here's some of the better ones.
The green in the fields is all gone, now we're left with yellow. Until a couple days ago, there was snow in the hills. Today was 65º & that pretty much dried up the last of it.
Here's the pair of SuperMags (.357 & .375). None of these shots turned out like I was hoping for, but it was still some time well spent.

In my opinion, the pictures turned out good. Mind you, I'm not a photographic expert. However, considering the subject(s) of your pictures, how could you ever go wrong?
I only have one concern about your pictures. Every time you use those mountains as a back drop, I must admit my mind shifts to our more primitive past when we were cave dwellers and hunters and I want to glass those hills for signs of life...no offense to any non-hunters.

LOL! Word has it that there are some caves up there, but I haven't had the gumption to go find 'em myself. Now if I was in my teens, I'd know where all of them are & then some!
Jody, you're right…there's guys up in the hills sighting in rifles with BIG scopes quite often. There was a hubby/wife team up there just yesterday. If & when you and the wife decide to visit Utah sometime, make it the warmer months…we'll go burn some powder!
Shoot, that blankie's days are numbered…it's gonna be chopped up & lining a PP one day soon. I may have to put tags on mine, too. I have been thinking about a permanent label of some sort, but haven't found one that will look good just yet.
