I took my .357 to the range today and was pleasantly surprised at how accurate the thing is. All of the bullets fired from this gun had a tendency to congregate towards the center of the target. :)
It handled very well with very manageable recoil. All in all, a pleasure to shoot.

I did have one issue, though. I started off using some cheap Blazer .38 SPCL ammo to get a feel for it (and to save a few bucks). At one point, the 5th round wouldn't fire. The trigger wouldn't pull and I couldn't pull the spur back into SA. I had to release the cylinder, empty it and reload it.  I put the two rounds of .38 that were in it when the problem occurred back in and added 4 more. The rounds came out and went back in with no problems. They all fired great and things went on as usual.
I had no problems with the 50 rounds of Winchester white box .357, either.

Has anyone else here experienced this? I can assume that it had something to do with the ammo, but that is just a guess. Maybe operator error to some degree?

Could be a few things- probably not ammunition though.  I'd start with barrel-cylinder gap (.002-.004 on most proud chamber), then look at grip screw (could be a bit too tight, but not likely), then give it a good cleaning (my best advice)- could be crud inside.  See AJT for more.  Glad it wasn't a show stopper.

Thanks for the info/advice. :) This brings up my next question: Is there a way to adjust the cylinder gap on a fixed barrel?

I think the only option would be removal and re-installation of the barrel by a qualified gunsmith.

Is there an issue that requires adjustment?

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

No issue that has been isolated...yet. I was just pondering solutions to the possible causes presented by rwsem in the earlier post.

I think Ron did not connect with this being a FB gun, I didn't either when I read your OP.

You could check the gap on all six chambers, and if you discover a problem (like one chamber at .001-.002 while all the others are larger), you could probably have a gunsmith remove the cylinder and square up the face of the cylinder.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Yep- wasn't thinking FB.. Agree with Steve.  Now I'm thinking crud inside, since you didn't have an issue after opening and closing the cylinder.
