New to the forum and DWs. I have found some fantastic info here. I tore down my 714 357 mag today following a post here on the site. Sorry can't remember who posted it but it was suggested by Bullwolf. It was really easy. It was also in horrible condition, gunked, gummed, rusted. It looks to me like I need a hand and a bolt. Does anyone have these available? An internet search has turn up nothing. Thanks, CJ

If you don't have a timing problem or a sloppy cylinder, I would suggest not swapping parts out. The hand usually needs some fitting too. But to answer your question: Go to the top of the page, select the FAQs tab and scroll down to General (questions) and open "Where can I order parts?". Regards, Ron
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

CJ,
You should first clean everything up, reassemble, check the action and shoot it to determine if you really do need any new parts.
If you do need any, Ole Dog & I recently picked up a bunch of parts and we do have a bolt and hand available. PM me if you decide you need them.

Pretty much the only new parts I'd suggest at this point would be new springs, and DW in Norwich can supply them very readily.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Thanks for the help Ron, sloppy cylinder describes it pretty well. CJ
CJ, We have bushings for that sloppy cylinder too.
Stinger, my Mom was a certified hoarder, I come by it naturally. You just never know when you will find a use for something, anything. Haha. My Mom's house was torn down when we pried her out of it. I have not let my roof cave in so I am still good.
BTW, regarding parts, I hear from Different. Drummer that DW is out of extractor rods now among other things such as sideplates and cylinder assemblies. I think the handwriting is on the wall. They may have some stainless parts since the still sell the 715.
