Just picked up a real nice 15-2 pistol pack the other day. I have very little knowledge and was hoping to get a little info. First of all I plant to use the gun for 100-200 yard pistol shooting. The longest barrel I have is the 8" how does this barrel work with the 170 lyman keith bullet and the RCBS 180 sihoette bullet? The trigger seems a lettle stout compared to my S&W's is there any recomendations in this area? . Can somebody share bullet load combinations for use with the 8" barrel for 100-200 yards. Are 10" barrels available? I believe these have the corrrect twist rates for the 180 grain bullets. More later. Matt

Welcome to the DWF. I agree that you should take it apart and clean it thoroughly.
Also, EWK Arms (see link in the right-hand column) will probably be happy to make a 12 or 15 inch barrel for you.
Most guys are either ordering replacement spring kits from the factory, or using Wolf springs.
Be a little leery of Mike Heffron. Since some serious health issues have raised their heads some of the guys have had major issues with getting work done and getting their guns returned in a reasonable amount of time. Hopefully his health will return and he can perform better, soon.
