I am making a road trip to the CZ (Dan Wesson) factory in Norwich, NY this Friday to pick up 2 new barrels for my 15-2 V, a 2-1/2" and a 6" to complete my "PAC", although it will not be an original. I asked about a tour of the factory and it may just happen! Anybody want to tag along?

Well I made the trip. I met Keith but he was VERY camera shy. I'll post the pics over the weekend. Everyone was very hospitable. I left my 15-2 V with Keith as he thought the cylinder was a bit "sloppy" with some play between the crane and back of the frame (I'm sure there is a name for that aprt of the gun).

What Dusty and Jody said ...
I was expecting a brick or concrete block structure, with an open machine shop like 20,000 Sq. feet... not shoe horned into a log building... but hey.. if it works.. and it keeps the overhead down.. that's a plus.. or it should be anyway..
I can see, from the size of the crew why Keith is selective on what he does.. how he has to allocate his resources...
Loved seeing the pictures of the crew and front desk folks.

I have been by the factory many time. I stoped one day and it was just past closing time.
There are 2 Morton steel buildings where all the machine work is done. They are not all that big. The log cabin is the office space. It's set in the hill a little and if you blink you will pass by the factory and miss it.
