I think it is difficult to sell expensive firearms during the holiday season. It would make for an excellent Christmas present

For me hint hint! I have the same thought! I have held back on a couple things that would be nice to have, though knowing need to think of others and not !!!!!!

This one is in my vault. My son bought it for me for Xmas. Nice guy.
Took it to the range…. after cleaning a sh&t load of lead from the barrel. Frankly I had never seen that much lead in a barrel before. Also the Gilmore scope was mounted backwards probably for display purposes in the case photos.
Now for the great news…. this baby can shoot. While dialing in the scope for my loads (typical 38 Special Hornady 148g HBWC with 2.7g Bullseye built on a Star Universal), the initial groups were sub 1.5" at 25Y.
Once I got it dialed in, and after about 15 rounds (3 groups) she settled in at the 3/4" 6 shot group size at 25Y off of a shot bag rest. Offhand, I was able to keep all 6 shots at under 2" until my right arm became tired. (Bullseye style). Often times during the course of shooting there were 3 to 4 of six in the same frackin hole. I wish the chambers were numbered (as is typical on my serious target revolvers) so I can see if the leakers are associated with the same chamber, time after time.
The DA trigger will take some getting used to. At present there is no discernible feel or tell-tale pre notice that you are about to let off the hammer fall. So spending alot of time with the pistol is going to be a must.
It is quite a heavy pistol.
I have polished the stainless with Wenol Red then Blue by hand and she now glows. There were some tell tale faint scratches which are not gone or diminished.
All in All… this is a superb pistol, both unique and quite accurate that functions perfectly.
What more can one ask for? A great pistol from a great Guy. Don was a wonderful seller.
Thanks Art
