Only thing better 'n talking about DW's.. is shooting them!
We have an indoor range about 15 minutes from the house unfortunately is not AC... so you have to get in and get out for the heat builds up in there!
I took the new 15-2 out to see how it shoots and get it sighted in. I put about 50 38spl target loads and 20 .357 target loads through it:
- sights were waaay off and kinda stuck, took more force to break them free than I expected
- My 15-2 has had a trigger job, and boy you can sure tell on SA
- I used both of LB's grips. The Lady Dan as I suspected is to small for target use (for me) but perfectly functional as CCW. The Target grip ( that my daughter has now claimed) worked well.
That was the last of a batch of 1997 158gr full wadcutters at about 800fps. I now have exactly 500 158 hollowpoint semi-wad cutters and an assortment of store bought stuff. (yeah I have no clue why someone would make a hollowpiont wad-cutter.. but it was cheap and quality looked good. I have to check with re-load person who is suppose to be making up 500 full copper jacket 140gr target loads. For some reason the cost just wasn't that much more so I bought a box of each. I then have about 1500 cases ready for re-load ( but no bullets nor enough powder and primers).
PS: My favorite shoot was just a one-hand SA quick shot with a 4" , LB target grip and .357. I hit about half a dime from dead center at only 7 yards. But it was fun!

Sounds like you had a good time. (like it's ever a bad time shooting DW's )
Your post reminded me of the last couple times I've been shooting, although you may not be able to do this at an indoor range...I set up two man sized cardboard targets about four feet apart from each other, then practiced shooting each of them in the center mass area, while walking towards them starting from about 20' away. One shot in the left, next shot in the right, next one in the left etc., all six rounds in DA. It's fun practice & I've amazed myself by how many times I actually hit what I'm aiming at. Most of the time I hit with all six rounds.
