On other forums of which I'm a member we have "karma". You offer something free and anyone interested can post to the thread. After a certain time, a "winner" is chosen by lot and they receive the item offered.
Is that a practise here? If it's acceptable I'd like to offer a Karma.
These are factory walnut grips with square tang hole and logos for SMALL frame revolvers. They are in excellent condition. There is no grip screw however.
I'll drawn lots next week on Tuesday.

We've done a few Karma type giveaways here in the past, and they went well. Lately, we've been doing our own forum auctions, where the proceeds go to keep the lights on around here. Here's an example; https://www.danwessonforum.com/?page_id=3/auctions/dwf-auction-14-2-box/
The money usually stays pretty low, so it ends up a win-win for everyone involved.

Karma is fun, I like it, so I'll shamelessly wave the flag and say that those grips would look beautiful on the scoped 44 8V that a certain son owns, but who is currently away and currently has a Pachmayr Large Presentation grip on it that could then get karma'd to somone one else in a sort of karma "Pay it Forward" thing if you get my drift and then two people would be the recipient of a single karma, or maybe that guy could then karma something forward in a sort of karma chain thing and I think this post takes the DWF record for the longest single sentence post, maybe?
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Well, I contributed to "keeping the light on" just a little while ago so this is just a Karma give-away.
Sorry about my earlier post Sig, I was a bit crabby this morning & my post didn't really come out the way I intended. I should have simply said it's a great idea and stopped right there.
Anyway, it's a great idea. This place can always use an extra helping of karma now & then, nothing wrong with that.

Missed it completely, but I still get the "one sentence record"

No post count requirements. On one of the other forums of which I'm a member they call it karma as in what goes around comes around. I'll just go through, count the people who want to be included then use a random number generator to pic the winner.

Hey put me in I would like that nice grip!!!!!!!!
I believe they are walnut. They have a very nice dark "mocha" sort of color and are nearly perfect but definitely without any cracks or scratches. They are actually very nice.

This time pass me over, I don't have a model 15 so it would go unused.Maybe Jody coulg come up with a karma smilley face?
