I have a Dan Wesson 44 mag. it is 1 of 250 made... #000456 the authenticity card says the #'s start at 250 up to 500... cherry handle, authenticity card and cherry box... just wondering if this is worth a mint yet or do i have to hand it down to my kids before it's worth big bucks... does anyone know about this series of 44 revolvers?

It's really hard to tell how much your 44 would be worth. We've seen some DW's going pretty high on GunBroker lately. Prices on Dan Wesson's in general have started to rise pretty steady over the past year or so.
Post some pictures it may give us a better idea of what we're dealing with.
There's not a huge amount of traffic on this site but obviously there will not be nearly as much as on the S&W forum since DW revolvers aren't as popular. This site has only been up for 7 months now and we have 130+ members so I'm happy with the success at this point.
