Are you talking about the barrel assembly only or the entire gun?

Take a look at Gunbroker.  I'd guess in todays market, $2000 would be in the ball park.

DA 64, I must have missed that one, that was decent price for an ETG gun.  I'd have put that one away if I'd seen it.

So I'd say 1600-2000 is still a realistic estimate.  Timing also will play a role.  Right now, there aren't any 445's on the auction sites.

List it and see what it brings you probably are not far off.  You could always start the bidding for what you have in it plus the GB fees.  Most people like the penny starts which you already know, they hope for a deal.

I think prices are a bit soft right now. That ETG should have gone $2500 plus. $1800 is a 6 year old value. I think the bit of corrosion on it hurt the price. A regular Monson ANIB would go for 1800 normally. An ANIB Norwich with doorknob tool could go as high as an ETG if it had the First Issue catchet.

But, prices have been soft the last couple of month. Inflation has drained everybody's resources. Credit card debt is up and high interest rates make it worst. The good news is there are bargains to be had. I have had so many of those bargains my Acquisition Syndrome is in remission. I didn't win anything Sunday😏

I suppose we all are interested.

If its not a First Edition 1600-2000 sounds right.

It’s a First Edition, I might list it, trying to decide based on value

Post some pics so we can see it! There are advantages to selling guns here instead of gunbroker The biggest is taxes. When you sell on GB you get a 1099 at end of the year. also is there anything else you're looking for as a partial trade?

Maybe you can do an "Auction Thread" in the For Sale section?   wink

Is there still an auction section here?  I remember when they tried it last time it never came to reality as there were problems.  Last I knew you had to make your revolver a listing with what you what you want for it (no auction).

I believe you need to post a price for items you are selling.

Correct, forum policy for For Sale items states you must post the item with the price you want, no auctions.  All communication of personal information to take place via PM.

Yeah, the auction thing was kind of a "flash in the pan" attempt. It had it's issues early on, and unfortunately, was quickly shelved.  Pretty sure the base software here at this site was the main culprit.

Would love to see some cool-pics of the gun mentioned here... drool
