I just got a DW 357. CTG. its got a "heavey underlug" to the best of my knowledge
i saw a picture of a DW revolver online and it had somthing i can only describe as a super duper heavy underlug based on my complete lack of knowledge on DW and revolvers in general.

Hi kevinA,
That looks like a custom shroud for PPC competition. Sometimes you see one on the auctions, but I've only seen them as complete guns. I have no idea who made them, or where you could find one. Perhaps one of the others here can help...I know someone here has a similar Dan Wesson.

They are pretty rare, and my guess is that chances of finding just the barrel is pretty slim. You probably have a Heavy (H) or Vent Heavy (VH) barrel.
On the subject of pictures
, so bring them on
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

to the DWF KevinA.
You are in the right place! The shroud is illustrated in the member's collections that SteveCT linked above.
It is an "Action Cup" model and the chances of finding just a shroud are somewhere between slim and none.
That's not to say that DW in Norwich, NY wouldn't make you one if you asked (& ponied up...). Give Genny a call, she'll probably refer you to Keith. There is a link on the right side of the forum page.
BTW, that's a mighty fine looking 15-2VH you've got there. Any box or accessories with that bad boy? If so, take a pic of the whole shebang.
Glad to have you as a member!

where are u guys seeing these numbers?
The number is stamped on the aluminum knob on the speed loader. Click the pic in that Cheaper than Dirt link & you'll see where the number is stamped.
Looks like that Shooter's Catalog link has 'em cheapest...that's $3 less than I paid.
