You get a lot of choices with a Dan Wesson revolver. You can customize easily with different barrel assemblies, unique and beautifully functional grips, etc. It is great to change barrel lengths, but still be shooting the same gun.
The Dan Wesson revolver is very robust, and will stand up to a lifetime of full magnum loads. If you are a reloader, frankly you can push the limits further than you might be comfortable with other brands.
But what shooting ultimately comes down to is hitting the target. The tensioned barrel and forward cylinder lockup build in a lot of inherent accuracy potential. Silhouette shooting requires accuracy and power, Dan Wesson revolvers "own" IHMSA.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Steve hit it right on with his response. I will add that every Dan revolver that I have bought so far has a nice light crisp single action trigger pull, and I personally find the Dan Wesson double action pull to be smooth and have a quicker lock time than other revolver brands that I have shot. I also am attracted to the bold straight lines of the revolver's looks.
