I wanted a large handgun for deer hunting. I didn't really want a 44 mag but the power of a 44 and something different from everybody else. My brother suggests the DW in 357 Max. I ordered one in from the local shop. Took it out that summer and got a little practice in with it. I took 2 deer that fall and never looked back. It's been DW collecting and handgun hunting ever since.

Good afternoon
I walked into a Pawn Shop in Chatanooga Tenn. in 1979. I personally like walking into pawn shops. There in the case was a nice Blue 357 6" that was smiling at me. I asked to see it and the feller proceeded to give me his sales pitch. It looked unfired and the feller said something about an interchangable barrel system. He got out the wrench and sure enough off went the barrel. Well that was good enough for me ! I like adaptablness. Been buying Dans here and there up NORTH there ever since.
Mike in Peru God Bless ya´ll.
It was the only large caliber Revolveron the used market here when i was looking for something extra.
Always fun to empty a drum at the range as it becomes totaly quiet after the first round, everyone there stops to shot and wait for me to finish. 🙂
Caliber? .445super mag.

Shootout, Sounds like you enjoy bringing the hush on the range. Whenever we shoot any Supermags at the range we get asked what cannon we are shooting as well. It is akinda cool because they usually guess its a Casull or a 44 mag. Most never heard of a Supermag.
Glad to see another Supermag shooter aboard.
