I bought 2 sets of the Fire Sights for Rugers, installed them this week after seeing one one Smkymtn's 715. I did run into one small issue. On my Palmer 715, the springs are larger diameter and would not fit the Ruger sight. The Ruger springs measure about .117" diameter, but the Palmer springs are .150" diameter. So I ordered 2 Ruger replacement springs from Midway and they worked fine. On my Monson 15-2, the springs were the smaller diameter and worked fine with the new Fire sight. I have EWK FO front sights on both revolvers.
I shot the 15-2 at the range, I really like these sights, especially at shorter ranges they will be great on any Dan you use for defensive purposes or a nightstand gun etc. Fun for target shooting too, they are really nice and bright outdoors.
Williams # for the sight is 70958, the MidwayUSA # for the springs is 423309.

Oh and sorry about the crappy pics, I had a couple more but somewhere between the camera and the laptop some of them didn't make it. These pics really dont show off how nice and bright the sights get. I really need a better camera someday.

Great report. Hey guys maybe we ought to start a topic on aftermarket sights that fit DWs. Anyone want to take the lead on this? Once we gather some good info like this above we can pin it some where for future reference.
What y'all think.

Good idea, especially since the subject seems to come up fairly frequently.
Lonwolf, those sights do look cool!

If anyone is thinking of buying these sights, Midway has the williams #70958 set on sale for $41.49. I believe the sale is on until the end of May. I ordered a scope at the same time that had free shipping and it looks like they're gonna throw the sights in the same box,so no shipping charge on them either!
Just wanted to pass on the info

Good looking out David.
By the way, the price of $41.49 is cheaper than you can buy just the rear sight from Williams. I was quoted a price of $45 for just the rear sight direct from Williams. I forsee a flood of Ruger GP100 front sights on ebay in the near future.
