I have gotten back to a little project revolver I call the the "orphan".
I was about to order a Wolf Spring pack when I came across a discussion on-line where someone said that the trigger return spring from Wolf would not fit a High Standard .357 made by Dan Wesson. It is my understanding that the trigger return spring is what has the most profound effect upon the trigger when doing the Wolf install.. ( a nice fellow who practices Bonsai substantiates this ). I know it is internet talk but it has brought me to a screeching halt on the ordering of springs. When looking at schematics for the HS nd DW I cannot see a difference.
I do not have a Dan Wesson to compare with my two High Standards.
Has anyone installed the Wolf Springs in a High Standard? Anyone have any knowledge of this issue outside your personal experience?
Ahem, I be here. DD, there is very little difference between the HS and the DW 14-1 or 15-1. The Wolff Springs fit both. The Lockwork is absolutely identical. I have seen some return springs in some guns that are a little thicker but the Wolff springs work the same on either. The only difference is in the Mark iii, the rear sight is a High Standard type. IMHO, the Wolff trigger return spring does make a huge difference as can smoothing the inside of the frame. The factory nickel 14 I have with the original short hammer throw and Wolff spring is beyond belief. The nickel is slicker than any smoothing you can do. Once I find a couple more of the part responsible for the short hammer throw I will reveal the secret of that.

Thanks Ron,
I was fairly sure about the internals being the same. I will go ahead and order.
Yes, I remember that nice short hammer throw. Somehow I thought I remembered it being on a Model 11 or 12 though. If it is a DW 14-1 that we are talking about I think I can say that neither my HS MK 11 or MK 111 exhibit the characteristics of the short hammer throw and I believe they should be the equivalent of the DW 14-1 and 15-1. Exception as you mention being the sights on the HS MK 111. Or, perhaps the nickel revolver is a M14, no dash number. I believe that would have been somewhere between the DW Model 11 &12 and the 14-1, 15-1. Probably a fairly short run I would imagine.
