So I was wondering how much flack I would get if I take the scratched up blue gun and barrels and part the pac out? Then I can take that scoped 715 10" and start building a Super Hunter pac!!

What gun we talkin about? It's your gun, you can do as you wish. Iny opinion, there is nothing wrong with upgrading your collection, keep the best stuff and sell the worst.

You don't possibly have a BA715V2.5 you would like to part with do you? Or even a plan un-vented 2.5 for a 715.

I dont wanna get in trouble for breaking a pac even though I'm going to build a bigger better shinier pac!
I thought about selling my palmer 2" fixed barrel 715..

Got any pics of that Palmer? Is it a 2 or a 3"?
We aren't going to chastise you for selling off a few parts to build a better pac. Many of us have done just that. Its not a sin. Now if you expand that practice into a business well......
Seriously, the pac breakers actually help us to be able to acquire hard to find original parts to build our own pacs. I've done several that way. I've even parted out a couple beater pacs to help build some gems.

I always look to improve my pac's quality, If I find better barrels, I sell the ones they replace.

I have since put a pachmayer presentation grip on the palmer gun. It also seems the barrel/cylinder gap is a bit close, feeler gauge wont fit in there.
I shot this one today, its the one I'm thinking of making the pac into. Just need a few more barrels and shrouds.
