Jim - You most likely have a VH8 barrel shroud. S configuration (S = slotted, on the side of the shroud, not the top rib) shrouds in .357 weren't very common and I believe were only offered on the field pistol or special order. Regardless, all the model 15 shrouds would be interchangeable whether they have a vent rib, solid rib, heavy underlug, or short underlug. They'll all fit your gun.

Harly, the shroud on my gun is a heavy underlug (didn't know it was called that until now) and the top is vented. There are no slots on the sides. Sorry I put "VH8" in my post, I think it's supposed to be HV8. It is heavy, vented and 8 inches long. But am I right in assuming any of the barrels will fit my gun?

All 357(Magnum) barrels will interchange. They will not interchange with 357 Maximum barrels however. All small frame shrouds will fit the gun but the caliber desigination may not match. Hope this answers your question.
