Congrats, and thanks for the Support. I think we have a new record on New Member to Site Supporter.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

That screen name is a hoot.rofl Do you have a herd of bovines at your house?Laugh

Thanks a bunch for your contribution, I believe Steve is right...you have the record for a contributor with the fewest amount of posts. I can see that you know a good forum when you see it, huh?DWF Sign

well let me start by saying Im 29 yo (dont hold it against me greybeards lol). its difficult to explain it but as I said in my newb post my grandad, my great uncle, my uncle, and my dad were all policemen in metro Detroit which is where I grew up (Im the black sheep fireman lol) anyway my dads dw-44 has alway fascinated me. it was always to me his biggest and scariest gun (excalibur if you will. lol) and even when I was younger I knew it was somewhat rare to come across someone that owned a dw. It took a certain person to purchase them so that always added to the mystique. lol I always felt like I was gonna crap my pants wen that hammer fell cuz everytime that gun fired it kicked me in the face lol. fast forward to present. I was looking for another gun to buy and I knew I wanted a revolver and I thought about that ol 44 dw of dads and I thought id see what else dw offered and Im literally blown away by this manufacturer I cant read enough about it i have contracted the sickness lol the contribution was a small token of gratitude to the information this site offers its obvious that alot of work has gone into this and the collaberation amd camraderie i have read about is overwhelming. Its quite obvious I found a new expensive hobby so thanx for feeding my addiction.

as for the screen name I was sitting at the computer one day trying to build an email account. I was getting really frustrated cuz everytime I thought I was coming up with a clever kikass memorable account name the site kept saying it was already taken. i knew if I started adding other things like numbers or symbols there was no way in hell I would remember the account name. I happened to be drinking an amazing glass of ice cold straight from the nipple. (not that homogenized pasturized crap from the store} im talking unmolested, antibiotic/hormone free, grass fed, from a blue-blooded american guernsey cow stored in a glass milk jug. AMAZING!!!!  anway the name just popped in my head and I knew at that moment I would NEVER have a problem getting an account using this name and not only does it get a chuckle to whoever I give it too they also almost always remember it.

thanks for the nice welcome everyoneLaugh

Ah-ha, that explains the name...and I can also identify with that aggravated feeling of finding an unused e-mail name. Mine is rearlobotomy, for that very same reason.Big Grin

I can personally guarantee that you are not the youngest member of the forum (I'm only 25). I also know what it's like to have a dad that brainwashed me about DW's, don't worry it only gets worse from here, these guys (me included) will afflict you with the worst possible kind of DWASon the planet.Laugh Screwy Welcome to the forum and thanks.

Thanks Milky,  We appreciate your support of the DWF Sign.  And these long screen names have a way of getting shortened by us who did not have typing at the top of our skill set.

Moved to Florida and it is tooooo dangerious for self employed person like mself……toooo many dead people driving here... She's in the garage and when I move a little north, I'l puddle around at 35mph and feel just fine.

If you're going to drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.
