If I snagged one that nice and unfired, I would put it away and save it, then you have a valid excuse to buy another Dan to use as a shooter. When you explain it to your wife, use the term 'investment potential'

Yip Pictures were worth the wait!!! Very nice W12! I have it's little brother the D-11 that is a non shooter (only because I have another to shoot). Enjoy and snag another just so you 2!
The pork chops are a wonderful way to start with Dan's then you can work your way through the years and changes... W-12, M15, M15-2, Then the D-11, M14, 14-2..... So 5 more to go in this one!!!!

That's an excellent find! I'm curious, what did you trade for it?
I'm also curious about the box label, is the s/n 1802 or 351? I don't know that I've seen two numbers on a tag before. Other than the grip style, I have an unfired twin to yours...
He's in good company, with a few siblings.
Left to right, bottom to top are models; 14, D11, pair of 12's, and W12.
