Thanks for the welcome!! Talked to the wife and we both think it was Xmas of 87or88 when she bought me the gun.it was bought from a local store named swallens . and sorry no receipt or other paperwork. I have had it at a few gun shows and heard all kinds of stories. Like it is a low serial number. Heard it isn't worth much because no one wants a 32 ..so any info you can give me would be great.. (Model: how many made?)
Since I developed an interest in firearms I have discovered there are more experts of firearms than ANY other endeavor of human existance. Those "experts" you met at the gathering of such at gunshows are mistaken. Ron and Shoot I am sure highly value their .32 MAG. dans. The 32 magnum cartridge is a favorite of reloaders for the ability to boost the ballistics and Dan Wessons are sturdy enough to handle it. Rest assured your beautiful gun is highly regarded , especially with the vent heavy shroud. I think there were not a lot made so the serial number is not "low" compared to the amount produced. In any event, I don't think the number has much effect on it's value.( Again, that's those "expert" talking) The beautiful condition is what would make it very desirable. Welcome to the forum. I hope you keep that wonderful gift from your wife but if you decide to sell it, there are many on the forum that would love to buy it.

Oh it will be with me for the rest of my life (unless something major happens) just always wondered about the value as I have been told so many different things.funny how Winchester and Remington has tons of info on them .but the dan wesson info is very scarce .they are top of the line guns(love my heritage also).should I drop my info into the serial registry? Or is just posting here enough info?

Hi All,
I was lead here looking for info on a purchase I made yesterday at an estate sale. This gentleman was a collector with over 350 guns in 99% condition. I've never seen anything like it. Truly amazing to attend. It is a mint Dan Wesson 32 H&R Mag CTG in Stainless. I couldn't find any model name/number on the firearm itself. I'll be picking it up today. I gave $425 for it. I don't believe it had a box but I'll find out more today. Any additional info on these revolvers would be appreciated.
