Sorry that the "born on" date cannot be a little closer, I'm guessing 1993-94.
Value? Based on a very clean looking 744 with a 4VH and a 10VH (both of which are the .44 Magnum shooters Holy Grail), I'll go out on a limb and say $800-1000.
4" 744's are just not that common, if I could have found a 4VH for my 744, I'd still own it.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Wow! The 4" BA would go for 450 on eBay. The 10" may match it. Steve is living in the good old days (no disrespect intended). I think I it would bring 1200 on GB. I think it is Closer to 1991 in birth. After that it would have been either a Wesson Firearms or have a Monson roll mark and a one line roll on the shrouds. JMHO. Enjoy and watch out. A buy like that can set off uncontrolable DWAS.

Great .44 Magnum set up you have there to show. The 10" barrels due tame the recoil a lot on the .44. I would agree that probably $1000.00 to $1200.00 with that pair of barrel assemblies.
