I have the oppurtunity to buy a Pointman with serial number just above 10 (DWE00xx)
Comes with the paperwork, bought in 2000.
How many of these were made? Serial number in the ten range seems low to me, but I'm not familiar with DW.
Whats the going price for a Pointman .45?
thanks!!

Yes, welcome and stop by the new members section!
You can find fine examples of used PMs in the $700-800 range on occasion and in the $1000-1200 frequently.
In 2000, the MSRP for a PMGD-AS was $839 and the FS version was $829.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

Hello Brian,
I snagged one about a little over a year ago and have been very pleased with it. Excellent shooter for a light weight Commander. Very accurate and, as is the DW norm, extremely well built. Ron's pricing estimates a pretty accurate. I've not seen too many PMGD come up, when they do prices seem to be on the higher side of Ron's estimates and maybe a tad higher. I don't know that the lower S/N has any real impact.

At that price you did very well, indeed! You're right the original box isn't much to write home about, but you show hold on to it if all of the original labels are intact.
Now go shoot that bad boy and post some !
