My father just recently gave me this revolver and I was wondering the value of it. Correct me if anything is wrong guys. Dan Wesson Arms model 715 with a 6" vented barrel and adjustable sights. I know the gun is 25+ years old. It also has Monson, Mass. on the side of it. From doing some research on here that increases the value of this gun. I thought the ruler would help judging the size.

Welcome to the best forum for Dan Wessons. Yours is a great looking 715 and an heirloom piece! I see them selling between 600-700 and occasionally more, and worth every penny. The original box is a plus. If you have a child to pass it to one day the value will only increase and it will work fine indefinitely. Monson, Mass was the original production site and may be favored by some for that reason. I have Palmer, Mass (the second site of manufacture) and Norwich, NY, (the third and current site) and in my opinion they are all of equal and exceptional quality. The more you learn about these great guns, the more you will appreciate them and their incredible value, and you may find that you need another, and another. Again, Welcome! and thank you for joining us at The Forum!
